August is the month when I feel a little disconnected from my studio life, perhaps it's all the fresh, salty air ....
This large painting, French Essence, Brittany Beach Walk, was inspired by a photograph I took late August a year or so ago. It has that end of summer atmosphere - soft tones indicating the changing light, a feeling of ease and tranquility. Summer edging into autumn .... amazing how soon it happens.
