Three weeks today we'll be boarding a ferry to France. We'll be swapping our house by the sea for 'Gauguin's Loft' and a different life. A friend of ours died suddenly a year ago and on the way to the funeral we decided to make some changes. At the funeral wake, which was held where we were married, we told our friends about the move. Sometimes it takes a thunderbolt to make decisions.
